Wet Dreams On Jeep

Wet Dreams on Jeep

“Once upon a time in Netherlands, 14 boys met each other’s and they knew: that is their destiny. They decided to make a plan to travel together. Saving up for 7 years and finally, they made it. Southeast Asia is chosen and Vietnam is the first destination. They were lucky enough to visit Halong Bay so the next day, all boats were banned to go out because of typhoon. Something is really adventurous only happening on the third day, when they took the life time experienced trip by Jeep to the Northwestern Vietnam.”

Met 14 young, dynamic and friendly guys in the morning. After quick introduction, they were all in position on Jeeps and the adventure started. When everybody was feeling so excited suddenly, God of Jeeps gave them a test. It is about the Patience (what really happened there will stay there and only insiders know). Unbelievable, they passed the test easily and the award for the patient guys is a visit to the secret, hidden Spa for Jeeps. that is where not only Jeeps in Hanoi but the North of Vietnam are taken care.

The “Spa” for Jeeps

Finally, the moment that they had been waiting for has come: Hit the road with Jeeps. The first photos of group on top less Jeeps on Sky highway in Hanoi

After few “unexpected” stops, they started conquering slope of the day: the White Rock slope

Reaching to homestay after a long but fun ride, they had a lunch and some of them laying down right on the floor for siesta by the rice fields

A long day has come to end, a very small dinner has been served with only…..10 dishes. They said that they wish to try authentic food and hopefully they were satisfied with Snails. This is not snail from sea or rice field but mountain. The locals only could catch them after a pouring rain, the other days they never can be found. After the dinner, everybody was excited for the traditional performance. While waiting for the artistes, “Holy water” had been poured, it helps close friends become closer.

And “The little angels” appeared (sometimes, kids view my blog so I could not give the “official name” of the group but I do believe “the insiders” will remember).

“Welcome to Mai Chau Valley, we wish you had a good time staying in our village. We are very humble artists but to be honest, we are the best in town. If you do not believe, please check it out”. That is what the “humble MC” spoke to group but she is right.

…..and all guys never expected “the little angels” performing that good.

“Spring in the Northwestern”

“’Weaving brocade”

To end the show, they joined dancing and sucking….rice wine together

A new day has come in the village. “Hi guys, I have small gift for your…….sons. it will be the proof to show your son that you have joined this trip”.

After the breakfast, guys and Jeeps moving again. 5 Jeeps really rocked the town:

...drive further from Mai Chau and taking the hidden back road

Stop for lunch at a house of Muong minority group by the Reservoir and experienced an authentic meal of the Muong;

PARENTAL ADVISORY: I do apologize if the name of blog makes your kids keep asking “What is the wet…. ?”. I am sure that if you read the whole blog, you will see I did not mean that. The idea for the name is on the second day of the trip. On the way back to Hanoi, it was rainy and wet. Some guys having beers then felt into sleep and some had dreams. I supposed to name it: DREAMS ON WET JEEP but I only realized that there could be something wrong with my computer or it could be a typing mistake when it published already. I also doubted that “Anonymous” has changed the name.

Their smiles say it all about the trip
