Hanoi – Mai Chau – Na Meo – Sam Neua – Viengxay  Luang Prabang

Day 1: Hanoi arrival

Day 2: Hanoi city tour by Jeep

Day 3: Transfer Hanoi – Mai Chau with boat trip on Da River

Day 4: Cycling around Mai Chau Valley – hosted meal at the local home

Day 5: Transfer Mai Chau – Na Meo, crossing the border to Samneua (Laos)

Day 6: Visiting Viengxay Caves (network of caves used by the Pathet Lao (the Lao revolutionary movement) during the Secret War)

Day 7: Long drive Samneua – Luang Prabang with numerous stops for visiting on the way

Day 8 – 9: Luang Prabang: sightseeing tour

Day 10: Departure
